We are a Social Media Medical Health Records Start Up looking for a Web JSP Designer who will be responsible for the front-end design and architecture of a new social medical service.

This position is a hands-on, high profile position in a fast paced small hi-tech environment with detailed responsibilities that include:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Translate our requirements into a technical architecture vision and implementation plan
* Contribute significantly to feature prioritization and systems architecture
* Design and develop the architecture for all web-site components
* Lead conceptual and design phases of new applications to ensure consistencies in the front-end environment. Translate business requirements into technology solutions
* Provide expertise for website design, architecture, testing, performance tuning and implementation
* Work with Product Management on future product strategy
* Develop design standards and guidelines and mentor other engineering staff on best practices
* Interact with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to availability, functionality, performance, reliability, repeatability and scalability
* Ability to influence, train, mentor and leverage the skills of others, including business partners and technical team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills – conveying information accurately and effectively communicating in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
* Critical thinking – using logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
* Ability to demonstrate prior work on issues where analysis of situations or data required in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as "soft skills"
* Demonstration of a solid understanding of a wide range of technologies, experience at developing comprehensive technical architectures in support of e-business
* Ability to effectively work with others, at all levels of the organization, specifically executive level. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

* Has led a team or a sub-team involved in a very large scale web-oriented system
* Expertise in managing technical resources to accomplish a business vision
* Expertise in allocating technical resources and managing milestones and timelines
* MySQL database knowledge
* Exceptional programming and analytical skills

TECHNICAL - REQUIRED:

* JSP/Java/Struts/EJB/Servlets
* HTML/CSS
* Ajax and JavaScript
* Tomcat
* Full understanding and expertise in the development of web-enabled e-business architectures, solutions, and plans
* Must "get it", meaning must be very comfortable working with current and future social web technologies
* Extensive experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in web design and administration in an e-business environment and its associated technologies is a must
* Must be willing to work in a 24/7 environment

* This position answers to the IT Director to create a new online venture from scratch!

Medical Business Analyst

HL7 Analyst

Are you an analyst with hands-on knowledge of HL7?
Can you lead the design, development, testing and implementation of new healthcare software system interfaces? If so we may be the right fit for you! We are a Social Media Medical Health Records Start Up looking for an HL7 Analyst who will be responsible for the integration layer of a new social medical service.

This position is a hands-on, high profile position in a fast paced small hi-tech environment with detailed responsibilities that include:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Designing, building and documenting interfaces for our PHR system to allow us to communicate with all aspects of the medical environment
* Working with internal and external industry experts to meet those requirements
* Interfacing between senior management and the development teams to convert marketable ideas into revenue products

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Excellent oral and written communication skills – conveying information accurately and effectively communicating in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
* Critical thinking – using logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
* Ability to demonstrate prior work on issues where analysis of situations or data required in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as “soft skills”

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Experience with Health Level 7 (HL7) message structures (versions 2.x) and EMR/EHR/PHR systems
* Experience with XML data formats
* Experience interfacing with Hospital Information Systems, medical equipment, Medical Laboratories or Pharmacy Applications with HL7 standards
* Knowledge of clinical data, architecture, patient management systems, controlled medical vocabularies, DICOM or SNOMED

PREFERRED SKILLS

* HL7 Version 3 RIM
* ETL experience
* Exposure to existing open-source PHR and ETL systems
* Some Java/J2EE experience, or other programming experience, would be beneficial
